CBT TRAINING AT LDC

Compulsory Basic Training (C.B.T.)

Complete your CBT at our centers in Pirelli Stadium, Stretton, or F.C. Hanley in Bucknall, Stoke-on-Trent, to qualify for riding on the road. This course includes theory and practical training, ideal for beginners, with a maximum of two students per instructor.

Section A - Introduction

Overview of the course, riding gear, and safety essentials.

Section B - Practical on Site Training

Learn motorcycle controls, how to mount and dismount, manoeuvre the bike, brake, and start/stop.

Section C - Practical On Site Riding

Practice slow riding, gear changes, U-turns, left and right turns, and emergency stops.

Section D - On The Road Training

Covers defensive riding, visibility, legal requirements, vulnerability, and hazard perception.

Section E - On The Road Riding

A 2-hour road ride with an instructor in radio contact, allowing two students per instructor.
